In this passage of the Bible, Jesus is compared to a thief in the night. For the rest of us, we can hear the music building and the excitement of the people and the anticipation from the servants. 2 Peter 3:10 KJV: But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 states, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
